Nancy Pelosi Caught Giving A Big Gift To Ron DeSantis

With an eye on 2020, the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, is in a good spot to be reelected no matter who his opponent is in November. Wether we are talking about Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist or Nikki Fried.

Nikki Fried, the Democratic candidate for governor of Florida, appears to be so desperate that she’s now fabricating stories and denying them about a possible “sex tape” of her floating around. On the other hand, polls show Crist as the clear favorite to become the Democratic gubernatorial nominee in August.

In any case, Crist, a political chameleon and former gov. of the state, took to Twitter on Monday to reveal an endorsement that had just been given to him. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered her support, noting that she’s worked with Charlie for six years in the U.S. Congress and that she’s seeing him battle for Floridians every day.

Pelosi went on to suggest that if Crist was elected, he would prioritize “people first,” and that his far-left priorities such as “reproductive rights” would be in “direct contrast” to those of the current governor.

When I heard this, I immediately said to myself that this is like an in-kind donation to DeSantis’s reelection campaign.

It’s really important. DeSantis’ priorities are starkly opposed to those of the left, which is one reason he has remained so popular in the state. Pelosi’s comment about Crist’s policies being a 180 from DeSantis’ is an important point in his favor.

Beyond that, unless the governor is involved in a major controversy – not the phony ones that the Florida media creates about DeSantis, but an actual genuine scandal that directly involves him – he’ll have no trouble sailing through to fall. I’m referring to when you’ve consistently done well in your state and your opponents are more known for their tans and wild DeSantis-Nazi accusations (not to mention the usage of explicit language) than anything they’ve accomplished while in office.
