NBC Fires former GOP Head After One Week – Trump Responds with Brutal Rebuke

Ronna McDaniel was the head of the Republican National Committee for several years. During that time, Republicans lost major ground in Washington and even failed to fundraise as it should. She was accused of using more money on flowers than on helping the party grow.

She was recently outed and replaced with allies of former President Trump. Almost immediately after leaving the RNC, McDaniel landed a job with liberal media outlet NBC News.

You have to wonder just how committed she was to conservative values if a Democrat-run network was so eager to hire her. But after only appearing on the network once, leftist hosts staged a revolt. And NBC executives quickly fired McDaniel. So, she betrayed her own party to win favor with the left, only to be betrayed by them. Kind of appropriate, I guess.

Donald Trump watched it all unfold. He has criticized McDaniel for ignoring his campaign and throwing money at doomed candidates like DeSantis and Haley. Now that is has been left out in the cold, he only had two words for her.

As McDaniel left NBC on Tuesday, barely a week after she was hired, GOP front runner President Donald Trump had harsh words for the former chair who openly balked at the prospect of his nomination as the Republican presidential candidate.

“Wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC,” Trump said on Truth Social. “She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear. It leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called NEVER NEVERLAND, and it’s not a place you want to be. These Radical Left Lunatics are CRAZY, and the top people at NBC ARE WEAK. They were BROKEN and EMBARRASSED by LOW RATINGS, HIGHLY OVERPAID, ‘TALENT.’ BRING BACK FREE AND FAIR PRESS – MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN 2024!”

McDaniel only appeared once on NBC, and after she did so, the other on-air talent freaked out. When she appeared on Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, #BoycottMeetThePress started trending on X. Welker even explained to viewers that she had no part in booking McDaniel. [Source: The Post Millennial]

Trump had nothing kind to say about McDaniel after she was fired from NBC. He criticized McDaniel for losing her job even after she “went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear.” The former president said McDaniel is now in “Never Neverland.” Meaning, she torched her relationship with the GOP but has been rejected by liberals.

She will have a hard time finding another job within the mainstream media, as she will expect other networks to dislike her as well. After leaving the RNC, she rightly expect to work with conservatives or right-leaning groups.

We’ve seen, time and again, Republicans turn on Trump and the party to win favor with the liberal elite. But when they try to cross over, perhaps to land a job with a news outlet, liberals turn on them as well. It seems like there is no room in America for phony Republicans and fair-weather conservatives.
