New Poll Confirms the Facts–GOP Has Big Advantage Over Democrats

Over the last year, Democrats have been the face of our federal government. And what have they done to convince Americans they should stay in power? Let’s go over it, shall we? They… um… let’s see, there was the… Oh, right, they’ve done nothing.

Actually, they’ve done worse than nothing. They’ve supported a “president” that’s torched our economy with a worker shortage, high gas prices, runaway inflation, and a supply chain crisis. He’s opened the border, letting in millions of illegal aliens. He’s letting our enemies wreak havoc overseas. And he’s doing nothing about the rising crime all over the country.

Democrats are largely to blame for not putting stop to Biden’s madness. And with the 2022 midterms just around the corner, a new poll reveals just how bad things are for them.

A recent Monmouth University poll found that Republicans “have a decided advantage over Democrats” going into the midterm election when you factor in independent voters…

While the approval for Congress, currently controlled by the Democrat Party and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), sits at a low 19 percent, with almost two-thirds (74 percent) disapproving, the Republicans appear to be in good shape heading into the midterms…

As the self-identified Republicans are trending up, combined with independents who have stated they support one party over the other, Republicans have a “decided advantage” with 51 percent, against the Democrats’ 41 percent. [Source: Breitbart]

More Americans are ditching the Democratic Party and are calling themselves Republicans. That is a major shift that we rarely see. On top of that, independent voters are breaking for Republicans, giving them even more support. Many have claimed a “red wave” will sweep the GOP into power this Fall. And these numbers support it.

So, why is the Republican Party so popular right now? We can point the finger at Democrats’ many failures under Old Joe. But there’s more to it than that. Just because Democrats are poorly doesn’t mean Republicans automatically become popular. It’s because, just a few short years ago, Americans saw how well things were going with Republicans at the helm.

The last time Republicans had control of Congress, they passed a historic tax cuts bill. This bill, called “Armageddon” by Nancy Pelosi, slashed the taxes of nearly every American. It quickly resulted in companies raising wages, giving our bonuses, and contributing more to charitable causes.

More Americans were getting hired, as jobs came back from overseas. And with the border secured, companies had a huge incentive to hire and keep American workers.

That was back in 2017, when Republicans still had the majority. But after the midterms of 2018, it was all downhill. Pelosi has run Congress into the ground, nearly passing a bill that would have jacked up taxes, drove jobs away, and crippled major industries.

You don’t have to be an economist to see which party handles the economy better. And with things in such a mess, thanks to Biden’s socialist policies, Americans with any sense are looking to Republicans to save the day.
