Nikki Haley Does the Unthinkable — Makes Shocking Move Against Trump

In a matter of days, millions of Americans will be voting in presidential primaries. As it stands today, Donald Trump is leading in the GOP primaries. His only rival is Nikki Haley, who faces a steep, uphill battle if she remains in the race.

According to the polls, Haley is unlikely to win enough delegates to defeat Donald Trump. Despite this, she intends to continue campaigning.

But, perhaps, the Republican candidate is getting desperate. Although formerly a Trump administration official, she has unleashed a volley of attacks against him. This recent criticism, however, might have gone too far.

Nikki Haley is campaigning hard, making the television rounds and ramping up her rhetoric against Donald Trump.

She is fighting on her home turf – South Carolina, the state that knows her best – and yet the media are acting in many ways as if the campaign is over…

In a Sunday interview on ABC’s “This Week,” Haley increasingly tried to tie Trump to Vladimir Putin’s murderous tactics in the wake of the Arctic prison killing of opposition leader Alexei Navalny:

“When you hear Donald Trump say in South Carolina a week ago that he would encourage Putin to invade our allies if they weren’t pulling their weight, that’s bone-chilling, because all he did in that one moment was empower Putin. And all he did in that moment was, he sided with a guy that kills his political opponents, he sided with a thug that arrests American journalists and holds them hostage, and he sided with a guy who wanted to make a point to the Russian people, don’t challenge me in the next election or this will happen to you too.” [Source: Fox News]

Sounding like a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, Nikki Haley compared her rival Donald Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin. She claimed that Trump encouraged Russia to invade NATO allies, taking a comment out of context.

She went on to suggest Trump is “siding” with a “guy that kills his political opponents.” Haley even claimed, apparently without evidence, that Trump “won’t acknowledge anything with Navalny.”

Donald Trump recently discussed the death of Alexai Navalny on his social network.

Over the course of many years, Democrats have tried to tie Trump to Russia. They have spent countless hours and dollars claiming Trump colluded with Russia to “steal” the 2016—something disproven by a DOJ special counsel. Despite this, many Democrats including Biden claim Trump and Putin are buddies.

For Nikki Haley, a Republican and former ally of Trump, to push the same narrative as the left is shocking. It will be used by Trump supporters to further accuse her of being a globalist schill. Haley has faced criticism for supporting views that conflict with conservative values.

To go on and parrot the claims of Democrats to attack Trump—could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
