Democrats are in a bad spot. No, I’m not talking about Joe Biden’s endless failures. I’m talking about the many new voter integrity laws that are being passed all over the country.
The left thought they had figured out a way to control the outcome of any election, thanks to various changes made in 2020. Claiming these changes were about “protecting” the voting rights of minorities, anyone with a brain could see they were about encouraging fraud.
From mail-in ballots to drive-through voting to 24-hour polling places, Democrats made sure that there were as few protections in place as possible. Of course, this makes it easy for criminals to cheat the system, flooding an election with fraudulent ballots.
Now, numerous states are shutting that down, in time for the 2022 election. Democrats are panicking that their game is up. So, what is Eric Holder, former Attorney General, urging? That Americans protest violently in the streets, to the point where they get arrested.
Former Obama administration Attorney General Eric Holder said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that protesters needed to be “in the streets” getting arrested in the political fight over voting laws…
He added, “Raising the consciousness of people by demonstrating, by getting arrested, by doing the things that ending segregation. If you asked people back in the 1950s, do you think marching, demonstrating will bring down a system of American apartheid? You probably would have said, no, that won’t happen. We shouldn’t lose faith right now. We shouldn’t lose faith. Citizens can make a change. Citizens need to be in the streets. Citizens need to be demonstrating. Citizens need to be calling representatives to demand the kind of change that will make this country more representative, make our democracy more fair. ” [Source: Breitbart]
Democrats aren’t even pretending to be on the side of law and order, anymore. When a former Attorney General is advocating the same kind of “protests” that nearly destroyed our country last year—you know the Democrats are lost.
Why does Holder think protesting and getting arrested is the right thing for Americans? If he really believed in democracy, he should just urge them to vote for Democrats, right? If enough Democrats are elected at the state level, then they can easily change the laws to making voting more “fair.”
Instead, Holder is calling on Americans to stage protests in an apparent attempt to destabilize our communities. Remember, these are the same Democrats who railed against Trump and his January 6 rally. They blamed him for a small number of people who invaded the Capitol, calling it an “insurrection.”
Now, they are calling for massive protests to force radical changes in our voting laws. So, who really wants the insurrection?
Right now, Holder leads a group called “The National Democratic Redistricting Committee,” a sham organization aimed at gerrymandering our country. He’s not at all concerned with making our elections “fair,” but pushing an agenda to help Democrats win no matter what.
And he’s willing to use Americans as pawns, flooding the streets and getting arrest, all so his party can get more power.
Disgusting.
