After four days of drama, the Republican majority in the House elected Kevin McCarthy as the next Speaker. Despite what some critics might say, McCarthy appears ready to move quickly to confront what the radical left has been doing in D.C. in recent years.
With Republicans in charge of the House, they can launch numerous investigations into what Biden has been doing. Republicans will chair powerful committees and will subpoena Biden flunkies from every federal agency. And now, one of the swamp’s biggest enemies was just appointed to a brand-new committee.
The left should be terrified.
The 118th House of Representatives will see the formation of a new select committee, headed by Jim Jordan, to dig into the abuse of power and the Weaponization of Government. This investigative panel will demand emails and correspondence between the Biden administration and big tech companies, and follows the massive revelations that came to light through the recent release of the Twitter Files…
If government personnel and agencies do not comply, subpoenas are likely to be issued, per a GOP source. The GOP is committed to digging into “the politicization of the FBI,” which not only includes the work done to discredit accurate reporting from the New York Post in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, but the allegations of Russian election interference in the lead-up to the 2016 election. This is a pretty big deal. Rep. Jim Jordan has long been an enemy of the corrupt left in Washington. He has called out Joe Biden and other Democrats’ attempts to cheat Americans and erode our rights. He strongly opposed Democrats’ bogus impeachments against President Trump.
And now, he will be leading a new committee aimed at confronting Joe Biden’s shocking abuses of power. The committee will specifically look into how federal agencies worked with big tech companies to suppress free speech for political purposes.
This controversy got new attention after Elon Musk provided documents proving the FBI paid Twitter to silence users. The FBI was one of many federal agencies, run by Democrats, that sought to coerce social networks to hide stories that were damaging to the left.
Thanks to this shocking conspiracy, news of Hunter Biden’s laptop was hidden during the 2020 Election. Narratives that contradicted Biden’s obsessive push for the COVID vaccine were branded “misinformation.” And that’s only for starters.
Make no mistake, Jordan will use whatever power available to him to expose what Biden and the left were doing (and are still doing). This is a huge blow to the left’s agenda. Going into 2024, this will deprive Democrats of the ability to censor stories they don’t like.
You better believe heads are going to roll.
