Does Nancy Pelosi ever tell the truth? I can’t say for sure. We remember that, once upon a time, she vowed not to impeach Donald Trump because it would be bad for the country. The woman ended up impeaching him twice.
She often claims she wants bipartisan solutions. But more often than not, she’s walked out of meetings or slandered Republicans to the press.
We all remember how she called Republicans “enemies” for not embracing her strict COVID standards… only to be outed for breaking San Francisco’s lockdown rules.
Yeah, it doesn’t seem like she and truth have a good relationship. But it gets even worse. Turns out the people she apparently lies to the most are her own supporters. Because a new report reveals that she has never personally matched a donation to her campaign—despite regularly promising to do so.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) campaign committee has repeatedly deceived donors by personally promising she would match campaign contributions but has not matched a single cent, according to a report…
Reportedly, between January and March, “Nancy Pelosi for Congress” has allegedly sent over 50 emails pledging Pelosi’s herself would be “personally” matching the contributions up to a certain multiple…
However, the report her campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) showed the speaker had not donated any of her personal fortunes to match the contributions she promised, according to the report. In addition, the report shows Pelosi has actually never donated anything, ever. [Source: Breitbart]
Now, why would a person promise to match donations, but never do it? I guess Pelosi thought her mindless supporters would never bother to call her out on it. Just give her the money, dummies, and don’t ask any questions. She is better than you, after all. You can’t run your district into the ground like she can. Just hand over the bags of cash and keep your mouth shut!
This report even reveals she’s never donated anything, ever!
Can you imagine that? Does that mean she hasn’t even chipped in on one of those “Save the Children” telethons? Not even a few pennies for UNICEF?
It’s bad enough for someone to demand donations from others, but refuse to give herself. But for Nancy to promise to “personally match” donations, but to never do so—sounds criminal to me.
According to some reports, she is worth millions upon millions. Do you mean to tell me she couldn’t throw a little bit of cheddar into her own campaign?
The real tragedy? Over half of the donations that came in were under $200. Meaning, they were small-dollar donations from regular, hard-working Americans. These people gave out of their pockets to help this woman—who does nothing but serve herself.
If she had a shred of integrity, she’d give the money back. But we all know that will never happen.
