Pro-Trump Conservatives Targeted In Liberal Murder Plot

A college professor said that he saw “nothing wrong with” murdering Trump supporters in a blog post defending Michael Reinoehl, the man who admitted to killing Aaron Danielson during violent clashes in Portland late last month.

“He killed a fascist. I see nothing wrong with it, at least from a moral perspective,” Dr. Erik Loomis responded to a comment criticizing the post. “Tactically, that’s a different story. But you could say the same thing about John Brown.”

In comments on the Friday blog post entitled “WHY WAS MICHAEL REINOEHL KILLED?,” Loomis, a history professor at the University of Rhode Island, reasoned Reinoehl was justified because Danielson was a “fascist.”

Loomis said in the post he is “extremely anti-conspiracy theory” but speculated that Reinoehl was murdered because police are “shot through with fascists from stem to stern.”

“They were openly working with fascists in Portland,” Loomis said of police, “as they were in Kenosha which led to dead protesters.”

Law enforcement officers shot and killed Reinoehl, a self-claimed antifa loyalist, last Thursday during an attempt to apprehend him. Earlier that day, Reinoehl admitted to the slaying of Danielson in an interview with Vice News, claiming he had “no choice.”

Danielson, a supporter of President Trump, was in Portland to participate in counterprotests of the ongoing demonstrations against racial inequality and police brutality.

This isn’t the first time the professor has openly disparaged the character and motivations of Republicans, once tweeting that Republicans “stopped caring” about COVID-19 when they found out it was “going to affect people of color and the poor disproportionately.”
