House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik has said that Republican Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney a “Pelosi pawn” who “does not represent” the Republican conference in an interview this week with Sean Hannity.
Cheney slammed Stefanik for saying that House Speaker Pelosi was responsible for the lacking security during the Capitol Hill protest during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper. In reply, Stefanik said that the establishment Republican was a “Pelosi Republican” and a “pawn,” who does not support or represent the conference.
“Cheney is a Pelosi Republican, a pawn of Pelosi at this point,” Stefanik said to Hannity. “She does not represent the GOP conference, or Republicans, or the American public. Republicans are centered on the facts, we are not focused on guarding the Speaker of the House, who is a complete lame-duck Speaker.”
“We want accountability, truth and we want to ensure the Capitol is protected as the People’s House and that the violence of January 6 does not happen again,” she said, adding that Pelosi should answer for why “the Capitol was not secured” on that day.

Cheney said earlier this week that former President Trump “created the flame” of the riot and that it was “shameful” to deny Donald Trump’s supposed responsibility, CNN said. “Trump created the flame for what occurred,” she said. “We have seen that not only in his speech before, but throughout. But for anyone to suggest that somehow he was not responsible, I think it is shameful.”
Cheney’s comments come after the Jan. 6 commission’s beginning statements, where the former conference chairwoman issued her speech.
“All Americans will watch your testimony videos today,” Cheney said. “The videos reveal the unbelievable violence and the inexcusable cruelty you all came under, and people must know the truth.”
Stefanik replaced Congresswoman Cheney, who had supported Trump’s second impeachment, after House GOP members removed her from the third-ranking role inside the conference.
The anger that Stefanik is showing towards Cheney is echoed across the nation as the midterms get closer and Republicans have had it with RINO traitors. Cheney is thought to be in danger of losing her upcoming election because of her anti-Trump moves.
