This week, we learned that Joe Biden was holding onto classified documents from his time as vice president. They were being stored at his private officers at the University of Pennsylvania. Sounds sort of familiar, right? The liberal media (and FBI) all but crucified Donald Trump after he held onto documents, although he said he declassified them.
Biden doesn’t have many excuses for this situation, since a vice president can’t declassify documents. He had said previously, many times, that he didn’t hold onto classified documents. What’s he saying now?
“When my lawyers were clearing out my office at the University of Pennsylvania… They found some documents in a box in a locked cabinet… And as soon as they did, they realized there were several classified documents in that box… I was briefed about this discovery and was surprised to learn that there were any government records that were taken there to that office.” [Source: The Post Millennial]
Really? Biden is claiming ignorance? He said he was “surprised” to learn that his office at UPenn had documents. Sorry, Joe. But the liberal media might believe that line, but the American people will not. And House Republicans are already taking steps to hold him accountable.

I might end up liking this new Congress. House Republicans have already launched a probe into Joe Biden’s document scandal. According to reports, the classified documents found in his private office contained intelligence briefings on Iran, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
That sounds like pretty sensitive stuff. How did it end up in Biden’s office? Does anyone believe Joe didn’t intentionally take those documents when he left office in 2017? Give me a break.
Remember when word broke that Trump “stole” documents from his own administration? The left sent over 30 armed FBI agents to raid his house. They waited until he was out of town. They forced his lawyers outside so they couldn’t see what was happening.
Yet we are not supposed to be equally upset that Biden was doing the exact same thing? Biden could be in bigger trouble because a vice president does not have the power to declassify documents, while Trump maintains everything he took to Mar-A-Largo had been declassified.
Biden’s excuse that he “didn’t know” about the documents does not cut ice. It was his office, maintained by his staff. Either he is lying or his memory has gotten so bad, he should be serving. Which is it, Joe?
I can’t imagine which one could be worse.
