It’s becoming more apparent that communist China is trying to undermine America’s stability. We all know about the spy balloon it sent over our country. But on the ground, the communist regime is trying to buy up as much of our land it can get its hands on. Chinese companies–controlled by its communist government–have been buying farmland all across America.
The governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, made waves when he supported efforts to ban China from buying land in his state. Other governors tried to pass similar measures, but were blocked thanks to lobbyists. But this problem isn’t going away. And in the Lone Star State, a bill just came out that could shut down China for good.
Legislation that would restrict land ownership in Texas by entities from China and three other countries is necessary for the security of the Lone Star State and the entire U.S., according to the bill’s author…
“This is about our national security,” Republican state Sen. Lois Kolkhorst told Fox News Digital. “The bill is meant to protect some of our nation’s most precious resources: land, minerals, military bases.”
Kolkhorst authored Senate Bill 147, which would ban the purchase or acquisition of property in Texas by a “governmental entity” of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. Companies headquartered in these four countries or “directly or indirectly controlled” by one of their governments would also be prohibited from owning land. [Source: Fox News]
Texas lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea from buying land. Of course, lawmakers are already getting pushback. The liberal media hates this idea, because it is essentially bought and sold by China.
Even some agricultural companies dislike this ban, because they want to sell out to China. It doesn’t matter that we are giving land, resources, and minerals to a communist nation. All these companies see are dollar signs.
If the left had its way, every scrap of American land would now be in the hands of either China or Russia. China would be shipping our produce overseas, while spying on our military bases. It is absolutely ludicrous for a foreign nation–a communist one at that–to be buying American land. I don’t care if it’s a duplex in Seattle, it shouldn’t be allowed.
As we’ve seen, several states have already dropped the hammer on China. But far too many politicians–be they Republican or Democrat–refuse to see the threat. They are so desperate for cash, they’d make a deal with the devil himself.
And communist China ain’t far from that!
