With a Republican now serving as Speaker of the House, Joe Biden’s in trouble. He can no longer count on Nancy Pelosi bullying the party into passing whatever insane legislation he wants. Biden’s already tanked the U.S. economy thanks to reckless spending. And now, he is facing a real crisis with the debt ceiling being reached.
Speaker McCarthy has no intentions of rising the debt limit without spending cuts. He is going to hold Democrats accountable for all the bloated spending they’ve pushed over the last few years. Not only that, but McCarthy just ripped the wool off of Americans’ eyes. And he revealed what Biden doesn’t want you to know.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) tore into President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats in a speech Monday night over raising the debt limit…
“… We are now 31 trillion dollars in debt. That is more than the size of the entire American economy. 20 percent more. Our debt is now a greater burden than it has been at any time since World War 2…
“If we continue down this path, in the next ten years, we will spend over 8 trillion dollars just on interest,” he continued. “That’s more than the entire federal budget this year. By a lot.” [Source: Daily Wire]
If this doesn’t worry you, it should. Biden has spent so much money over the last two years, it will take us ten years just to pay off the interest! Biden’s burned through trillions of dollars in cash that we don’t have. Raising taxes (which Biden has already done) isn’t enough to cover all his spending.
America is in debt to the tune of $31 trillion. That’s more than what the entire U.S. economy produces in a year. We don’t have the money. Yet Biden wants to spend even more, ensuring future Americans will be mired in debt for decades.
Biden doesn’t care. He’ll be long gone before this comes back to haunt us. Biden is burning through cash, to benefit his allies, himself, and special interest groups. I.E.: the swamp. They all get rich while most Americans struggle to buy eggs.
By the time this debt crushes the country, Joe will not only be out of office but probably dead. He won’t have to answer for his crimes against the country. But McCarthy is making sure Joe will face the responsibility of his reckless spending right now.
Biden can lie and claim we have a good economy. But we know the truth. Inflation is raging while he cripples our industries. Meanwhile, he is raising taxes to spend even more of our hard-earned money.
It’s high time Joe was held accountable.
