Swing State Sends Biden Spinning – His Chances Are Over

In the fall of last year, Democrats were shaken by polls showing Trump beating Biden. Recently, Biden surrogates have claimed things shifted, as big donors dumped millions into Joe’s pockets.

But that hasn’t changed Biden’s sagging approval, which is the lowest of his presidency.

Biden may have a large war chest, but he seems to be doing little in office. And now, he just received some bad news. Because a state he won in 2020 appears to be breaking from him.

Bad news for Biden is coming out of Georgia. According to a new poll from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he is losing to Donald Trump by eight points. That is a large percentage and well outside the margin of error.

Georgia is traditionally considered a conservative state. But it became something of a swing state when Biden defeated Trump by less than 13,000 votes in 2020. The state continues to be largely red, with Republican leadership. It passed strong election integrity measures in recent years, sparking the outrage of Democrats.

For Biden to be losing to Trump 45% to 37% suggests his 2020 win was just a fluke. It might embolden Trump supporters to claim Joe’s victory was a fraud. But it appears Biden’s woes are coming from a lack of enthusiasm among liberal voters.

Ten percent of black voters from the state won’t vote for him, as well as 7.5% of liberal voters. That is enough to put a huge dent in Biden’s chances, given how much the state leans to the right.

And Georgia voters might also share the same sentiments as many other Americans, that Biden has failed to live up to his promises. Many Americans blame Biden for the border crisis, inflation, and other problems. Biden has spent over a year of his four-year term on vacation. Recently, it does not appear he’s passed any meaningful legislation for Americans.
