Joe Biden has a very big problem on his hands. And no, for once we’re not talking about his obvious dementia. Biden has very slim odds going into the 2024 Election. Regardless of who is the GOP nominee, Biden has to convince Americans that his failed leadership deserves another term.
Biden’s approval is in the toilet. He is responsible for numerous crises battering the country, including inflation, recession, skyrocketing energy prices, an overrun border, crime in blue cities, rising taxes, and endless corruption allegations. Only an idiot would vote for him now.
But even worse is the fact that he already has competition that should doom his campaign. Famed civil rights leader and professor Cornel West is running as a third-party candidate for president. That alone will draw many votes from Joe Biden, especially from black communities. But that’s not all. The respected educator and speaker is blasting the entire Democratic Party, calling it a lost cause.

“Brother Bernie’s making a plausible argument, but I think deep down in his heart, he knows that the Democratic Party has no fundamental intention of speaking to the needs of poor people and working people,” West said.
West, an Ivy League academic, also said that the Democratic Party is “dominated” by its corporate and militarist wings and that Sanders and Cortez are “window dressing at worst, and at best, people to appeal to every four years, but a Democratic Party is beyond redemption at this point when it comes to seriously speaking to the needs of poor and working people” [Source: Just the News]
Ouch. I might not agree with everything West says, but he is 100% about this. The Green Party candidate brutally criticized Democrats as “beyond redemption.” He said the party claims to represent the poor and working in America. But in reality, the party serves corporate and special interests first.
West even hammered so-called socialists like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. He called them “window dressing” at worst. But even at best, these faces are only used by Democrats to attract voters “every four years.” West doesn’t believe people like Sanders and AOC are actually doing anything to help struggling Americans.
This is pretty brutal criticism, but it’s not coming from a Republican. West is a liberal who has plenty of reasons to back Democrats. But he knows full well (as you and I both know) that Democrats have no intentions of doing what they say they will do.
Biden and his party are servants of the D.C. swamp, radical activists, corporations, and warmongers. They are not putting Americans first and never will.
