Top Journalist Connects CIA To Child Trafficking

Joe Rogan, podcaster and comedian, claimed on his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” episode #1850 released on July 29 that convicted, and now deceased, sexual predator and trafficking of women and children Jeffrey Epstein made a significant statement.

“Whoever was in command of it, if it was the CIA, Mossad, or if it was both of them, it was an intelligence operation. They were bringing people in and compromising them.”

This statement received a lot of attention on national news, and I wondered if anyone had ever inquired the CIA about whether Epstein was linked to it.

“It’s been about 20 years that I’ve been saying Epstein was a creation of the intelligence community,” Weinstein tweeted on Aug. 2 in response to the NY Post story about Rogan’s words. “I’m curious if I’ve been wrong for two whole decades. What I do know is that I have never seen a single article refuting this. Which, if you think about it, makes sense.”

In February 2020, after the CIA completely denied it, Weinstein tweeted, “Could anybody of the reporters following me call up the CIA, NSA, and State Department spokespeople and ask if Jeffrey Epstein was known to the US government to be a pedophile with connections to *any* foreign or domestic intelligence agency? And just print whatever happens next?”

The news media have questioned whether Epstein’s notorious human trafficking network was connected to government organizations. Rolling Stone published a story called, “Was Jeffrey Epstein a Spy?” on July 15, 2021.

I decided to ask the CIA directly this time. My first communication with the CIA’s Office of Public Affairs inquired about Joe Rogan’s quote and stated, “I only have one question: does the CIA utilize human trafficking or child sexual abuse in any way as part of any US intelligence operations?”

I was asked to call and ask the question over the phone. I requested a written response, as I was polite about it. CIA spokesperson Tammy Thorp sent me this statement: “This claim is not only categorically false but also ridiculous and insulting to CIA personnel who risk their lives every day to safeguard Americans.”

“I’m glad to hear something so clear! Is it my understanding that because of your response, no members of any of the US intelligence sub-communities would enable an intelligence asset from any country to engage in human trafficking or child sexual exploitation on American soil?”

“As a matter of policy and US law, the CIA promptly notifies US law enforcement authorities when any such crimes are detected. We wholeheartedly agree with the statement below. For any questions regarding members of the US Intelligence Community other than CIA, we would recommend you contact the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.”
