Despite tremendous opposition from Democrats, including four criminal cases, Donald Trump’s 2024 chances are looking better and better. Polling suggests he can win critical swing states, taking them from Joe Biden.
It appears that voters are eager to flock back to Trump, after enduring four years with Joe Biden. Sentiment towards the Democrat has soured big time. Many voters seem to think Biden is corrupt, senile, or both.
Even long-time Democrats are starting to come around. Some polls show “safe” Democrat voting blocs breaking away for the Republican. Voters from unlikely states could be eager to dump Biden. And it seems Trump is making a big play for November.
It’s been more than a half century since a Republican won Minnesota in a presidential election, but former President Donald Trump says he’s got “a really good shot” of breaking the losing streak this November in his 2024 rematch with President Biden.

Two weekends ago, at a closed-door Republican National Committee retreat for top-dollar donors that was held at a resort in Palm Beach, Florida, senior Trump campaign advisers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita and veteran pollster Tony Fabrizio spotlighted internal surveys that suggested both “Minnesota & Virginia are clearly in play.” [Source: Fox News]
According to reports, Trump’s campaign is eyeing on flipping traditionally blue states like Minnesota and Virginia. The former president is headlining the Minnesota GOP’s annual Lincoln Reagan fundraising dinner this week. And top Trump advisers believe that even Virginia is in play.
Part of the reason has been Biden’s failures on the economy. The Democrat has opened the border, welcoming millions of job-stealing migrants. His radical spending plans, along with his extreme environmentalism, has contributed to runaway inflation.
Working Americans are suffering as a result. And it is possible voters in Minnesota and Virginia—particularly rural residents—will eagerly pick Trump over Biden.
Trump might be looking for other flip opportunities as well. He held a huge rally in New Jersey just last week, where 100,000 people attended. He has even considered holding an event in New York, the very heart of the Democratic stronghold.
