Trump Trolls Pelosi After Confrontation with Reporter

President Trump accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of having a “nervous fit” in regards to a confrontation she had with a reporter on Thursday morning.

Pelosi, at her weekly press conference, was asked by a Sinclair news reporter if she hated Trump moments after she announced the House was moving forward with a vote on articles of impeachment. Pelosi, who was walking away from the podium when the question was asked, stopped and turned to the reporter and referenced her faith.

“Don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that,” Pelosi said. “As a Catholic, I resent you using ‘hate’ in a sentence that addresses me,” and later said, “I don’t hate anyone.”

“It has nothing to do with that,” she added. “I think the president is a coward when it comes to helping our kids who are afraid of gun violence. I think he is cruel when he doesn’t deal with helping our Dreamers, of which we’re very proud.. I think he is in denial of the climate crisis. However, that’s about the election. Take it up in the election.”

Following the Speaker’s comments to the reporter, Trump weighed in tweeting, “Nancy Pelosi just had a nervous fit. She hates that we will soon have 182 great new judges and sooo much more. Stock Market and employment records. She says she ‘prays for the President.’ I don’t believe her, not even close. Help the homeless in your district Nancy. USMCA?”
