Trump Turns Heads With Bizarre Rant – Goes ‘Postal’ DeSantis News

The moment many Americans have been waiting for came this week. Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, announced his candidacy for president. The event was historic in its own way. DeSantis made the announcement during a Twitter live event. Over 3 million people watched, nearly taking down the social network.

But one person watching was none too pleased, Donald Trump.

The former president clearly fears what DeSantis might do during the primaries. He has ignored every other Republican candidate to mercilessly attack DeSantis, his former ally. But the way he reacted to DeSantis’s official announcement has even conservatives criticizing 45.

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to blast Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a bizarre post that immediately sparked confusion.

“‘Rob,’ My Red Button is bigger, better, stronger, and is working (TRUTH!), yours does not! (per my conversation with Kim Jung Un, of North Korea, soon to become my friend!),” Trump said in the post…

“Bonkers,” Matthew Brodsky, a political strategist and senior fellow at the Gold Institute for International Strategy, tweeted in response to Trump’s post.

“DeSantis has been talking about detailed and substantive policy issues for the last hour,” conservative writer A.G. Hamilton added. “This is what you get from Trump. If people want idiocracy and entertainment, Trump might be the better option. If you want substance on the right, DeSantis is it.” [Source: Fox News]

For some reason, Trump has taken to calling Ron DeSantis “Rob.” He criticized the technical difficulties Twitter was having during DeSantis’s event–difficulties sparked by the massive number of users tuning in to watch.

Americans commented on Trump’s seemingly unhinged and incomprehensible rant, calling it “Bonkers.” One conservative commentator said called out Trump’s “idiocracy and entertainment,” while DeSantis was “detailed” and provided “substantive policy issues.”

But things got even weirder when Trump posted this video mocking DeSantis’s event.

Is Trump losing his mind? Is he so threatened by DeSantis that he’d attack an ally? Joe Biden is wrecking the United States and selling us out to the highest bidder. Yet Trump is slamming a fellow Republican with a sterling record as governor.

From all appearances, Trump is torching bridges, just to get an upper hand. Does he really think this bully tactic is going to work against a man who won re-election by 1 million votes? All that Trump is doing is alienating voters and dividing the Republican Party.

That won’t help him, come November 2024.
