Despite Democrats’ best efforts, Donald Trump continues to campaign. The many criminal cases against him appear to be about keeping him from holding rallies and events.
Despite that, Trump has used every opportunity to appear before voters and hold fundraisers. His success is growing. In April, he outraised Joe Biden—as the Democrat sags in the polls.
Trump is planning a big rally this week in a deep-blue city. Signs point to Trump having success there. Even he claimed he could win the entire state. And to show their support, Trump fans unfurled an epic banner right in the heart of the city.

Trump supporters unveiled a banner of the Republican candidate in Yankee Stadium. The banner showed Trump’s famous mugshot with the words, “Never Surrender.” Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in South Bronx, the same borough where the stadium resides.
Trump may have a chance at flipping New York. That sounds like a longshot, but he has said New Yorkers are outraged by the criminal trial going on in their city. Trump has received warm support from New Yorkers while in the city.
Recent elections have seen many New York districts moving to the right. Could Trump gain enough support that he takes electoral votes from Biden in a Democrat-majority state? Well, he wouldn’t be holding a rally in New York unless he thought he could.
Polling has not been good for Joe Biden. And he might not have many opportunities in the coming months to improve his reputation among upset voters.
