Chances are, you probably heard of Tulsi Gabbard. The Democratic representative from Hawaii left her congressional seat to run for president in 2020. The left-wing figure garnered attention from both liberals and conservatives, mostly because of her anti-establishment point of view. Naturally, the left conspired against her. Evidence suggests search engine results for her campaign were suppressed. And old crone Hillary Clinton even claimed she was a Russian puppet.
We aren’t surprised to find that Gabbard has been an outspoken critic of the Biden regime. She’s blasted swamp dwellers on both the right and the left. And she even stuck up for Kyle Rittenhouse and the media branded him a “murderer.” Now, she is making the left even more outraged, because she will be speaking alongside Trump at the biggest conservative event of the year.
Former Democratic presidential candidate and former Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is scheduled to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this week, the group’s chair confirmed on Monday…
Other speakers scheduled for the Orlando, Florida, CPAC event this week include former President Donald Trump, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. It might seem odd that a decidedly liberal politician would speak at an event like CPAC. And it is. But once upon a time, this country’s politicians weren’t as divided as they are today. Members of both parties would actually want to cooperate and work together. It wouldn’t have been all that unusual to hear that a Democrat is a guest at a conservative conference.
(Keeping in mind that this is a conservative event, not an official event of the Republican Party.)
It’s unlikely Gabbard is going to go full Republican after this. But she shares some views common among people on the right. She is no fan of America fighting endless wars overseas. Gabbard is considered a free thinker, which puts her directly at odds with the radical left.
But what will Gabbard talk about at this event? What will be the result of this meeting? It’s hard to say. But one thing we can take away from this news is how conservatives are always willing to meet with people and talk about shared values—even if they come from a different political party.
Can the left say the same? Of course, not. Democrats have become utterly hostile against conservatives, Republicans, Trump supporters, and now even truck drivers. They have waged campaigns against free thinkers, brandishing their views as “hate speech” and “misinformation.” If you refuse to bend the knee to their woke agenda, they will call you a racist and have you kicked off the Internet.
I seriously doubt they’re inviting Rand Paul to any events soon.
