Former White House doctor Ronny Jackson, who was in the role under the Trump and Obama administrations, said this Wednesday that Biden must undergo a prompt cognitive exam since he is “not fit to be our leader right now.”
Jackson’s comments come as Putin launched a full-scale invasion into the nation of Ukraine during the early hours of Thursday.
“The entire country have been witnessing his mental issues for more than a year now, and there is really no question in most people’s minds that there is something happening with him, that he is not cognitively the same as he was before, in my mind, he is not fit to be our president,” Jackson stated during his interview. “Every time he speaks to the American public, it’s not only us who are watching him speak, it’s the entire world, and that is part of the issue,” Jackson also stated. “He looks weak and tired, he looks confused, he is incoherent, and it sends a message of weakness to the whole world, and they are seizing on that.”
“He has 40 years of tape, you can go look at this man before, so we have something to compare it to,” Jackson said. “He has always made gaffes, missteps, but never to this extent. This is something different. These are not gaffes…. This is something a lot more serious.”
Jackson said that Joe Biden’s lack of mental fitness “was on full display in the Afghanistan crisis” and that it could “get more Americans killed” and “ultimately give us a war because of his terrible leadership skills.”
Biden was pushed during a media conference last month over polling that revealed that the Americans have serious concerns about his mental fitness.
“I would like to raise a delicate subject, but with utmost respect for your accomplishments: a poll was published this morning by Politico that found 49% of voters disagree with the comment, ‘President Biden is mentally fit,’” a journalist said. “Not even most Democrats who reply strongly affirmed that comment.”
“Well, I will let all of you decide whether they are correct,” Biden replied.
“So the question is, why do you think such a large segments of the population have such profound concerns about your mental fitness?” the reporter asked.
“I have no idea,” Joe Biden said.
