Plenty is on the line, this midterm cycle. If Republicans retake the House and Senate, it is the end of the Biden administration. The GOP will launch hundreds of investigations, shut down Biden’s radical agenda, and even overturn plenty of his changes.
And that’s just for starters. Democrats have to do everything in their power to win over swing voters, especially moderates from middle America. But what are they really doing? Becoming as extreme as humanly possible. Democrats are lurching hard to the left, embracing radical policies that few Americans in the middle can support.
Even worse, they are putting words in Biden’s mouth to prop up their agenda. I wonder if Biden appreciates what his staffer just said.
White House Office of Public Engagement Director Keisha Lance Bottoms responded to questions on whether President Joe Biden believes there should be any restrictions on abortion at all, even if it’s 30 weeks into the pregnancy, by stating that she has “never heard the President give a timeframe on that. But he has said that he believes that a woman has a fundamental right to make decisions about her own body and her healthcare choices.” […]
Bottoms answered, “What the President has said very publicly is that he supports a woman’s right to choose. I’ve never heard the President give a timeframe on that. So much for the “moderate” President Joe Biden, huh? Biden used to be pretty pro-life over the issue of abortion. He even once tried to pass legislation to ban it, way back in the day. But apparently, his radical, extremely left-wing director of public engagement is claiming Biden supports abortion at any point in the pregnancy.
Even in the third trimester, when medical science has proven the baby can feel pain.
We know that Democrats are pushing an abortion-only policy. They want to shut down crisis pregnancy centers, so that vulnerable women have no choice but to get an abortion. They want to overturn any limits states have set on abortion, even ones that protect unborn children and mothers.
They are not even pretending to care about the lives of babies, anymore. And now, they are putting words in Biden’s mouth, claiming he supports this kind of evil and brutality.
Democrats think that pushing abortion will help them win in November. But championing a policy that cruelly tears a baby apart in his mother’s womb–or going as far as to support post-birth abortion–is insane.
If Biden really does support this kind of monstrosity, Republicans need to act faster than they already promised. Biden isn’t interested in “codifying” Roe v Wade, but in ensuring children are never safe in the womb.
Unless Biden comes out himself and corrects Ms. Bottoms, we all should be worried.
