After Alex Jones Blows up Tucker’s Show – Elon Musk Mulls Move that Will Seriously Trigger Libs!

You probably know the name Alex Jones. The political commentator just might be the most controversial figure in America. The unapologetic “patriot” has outraged millions of liberals over his wild conspiracy theories and claims.

He has been kicked off of social media in what appeared to be a concerted effort by liberals to censor him. Even the courts have condemned him for what he’s said. But this week, he blew up social media after appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show, which streams on X.

The two discussed a wide variety of topics that included de-platforming, the border, the New World Order, depopulation, intentional racial division, the upcoming presidential election, and Alex Jones’s many predictions, which Carlson said were “spot on.”…

In the interview, Jones predicted that the Deep State would kill former President Donald Trump, saying that it is “their only next move because this is failing.” He added, “I think they’re going to kill Biden too.” [Source: The Post Millennial]

That is only a taste of what Jones said that has outraged and triggered liberals online. But what Elon Musk said on the very same day, will have some progressives running for their Prozac!

On Thursday, Elon Musk announced that he is considering reinstating right-wing commentator Alex Jones’s account on X, saying that he would hold a poll on the matter. This has been a frequent tool Musk has used to make decisions regarding the platform…

According to AP, Jones’s “Twitter crime” was insulting a CNN reporter outside a congressional hearing. Someone had filmed the interaction on Periscope which was a live-streaming service on Twitter, although the feature has since been discontinued. Jones reportedly did not film or upload the altercation. [Source: The Post Millennial]

Elon Musk responded to a comment about Alex Jones, suggesting he should be reinstated to X. Musk, an advocate for free speech, said that permanent bans on his platform should be “extremely rare.”

He was also confident that the site’s fact-checking feature, called Community Notes, would be effective at refuting anything false that Jones said.

Musk has amped up Community Notes to protect free speech on the platform. In the past, liberal-run social networks would ban users, accusing them of spreading “misinformation” or “disinformation.” Of course, this was abused by leftists to silence anyone they disagreed with. By relying on a system like Community Notes, Musk has debunked those excuses for censorship.

It’s unclear as of yet if Jones will be restored to the platform. The “poll” in question appears to be in the form of comments beneath Musk’s original comment. Many responded in favor of restoring Jones’s account.
