Biden’s DHS Launching New “Homeland” Group – Guess Who’s In It?

Critics have been discussing Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security since he entered office. The agency was created to protect Americans from attacks. Yet, under the Biden administration, Republicans have accused the DHS and its head of neglecting their duty. DHS has come under fire repeatedly for not enforcing America’s border laws.

At one point, the agency formed a “disinformation board,” which many claimed was an attack on the First Amendment. Now, Biden’s DHS is forming a “Homeland Intelligence Experts” group. It’s unclear just exactly what this group will be able to do. But it will include some names, who famously pushed their own “disinformation” narrative.

This group will “provide advice and perspectives on intelligence and national security efforts to the Office of Intelligence and Analysis and the Office of Counterterrorism Coordinator…”

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has created the Homeland Intelligence Experts group. This group of 17 individuals will, among other things, offer “advice” and “perspectives” to the agency. Among the “private-sector” members of this board include former government officials.

Disgraced DNI head James Clapper will be a member, as well as former CIA agent Paul Kolbe, and CIA director John Brennan. John Brennan famously criticized President Trump on live TV, then backtracked after the president threatened to revoke his security clearance.

All three of these men signed a 2020 letter calling the Hunter Biden laptop fake. Despite evidence to the contrary, these men claimed the laptop was created by Russia as a part of their “disinformation” campaign against the election.

There has yet to be evidence that would have convinced security experts that the laptop was fake. In fact, early on there was good reason to believe the laptop was real. The only feasible excuse for saying it was from Russia, at that time, was to protect Joe Biden’s election chances.

Since that time, the laptop has been verified. Even media outlets that claimed it was fake now admit they were wrong. Yet these “intelligence” experts were never required to explain themselves. And now, it appears they are being rewarded with these appointments.

The Department of Homeland Security, along with the DOJ and FBI, have fought against the courts to pursue censorship campaigns. The DHS claims it must be allowed to infringe on Americans’ free speech rights in the interest of “national security.” This new group could be part of that large campaign.
