Once upon a time, America went above and beyond to care for its senior citizens. These people worked for decades to build our country, the least we could do was ensure their golden years were as comfortable as possible.
But across the country, Democrat-run states and cities have gone out of their way to neglect and mistreat the elderly. New York was rocked by revelations that, in 2020, the disgraced former governor was deliberately exposing thousands of elderly to COVID.
Things haven’t seemed to change all that much. Recently, the city evicted elderly residents from a senior center, forcing them out of their home. The reason? Oh, you’re going to love this.
Dozens of seniors in New York, including a 94-year-old Army veteran named Frank Tammaro, were evicted from their senior center, which was then converted into a migrant shelter…
Tammaro told Fox News that he had lived in the center for five years, and intended to spend the rest of his days there until he and the other members were notified that they were being kicked out. After he was evicted, Tammaro’s family found out that the center was turned into a migrant shelter…
The veteran’s daughter, with whom he now lives, echoed the same sentiment. “I don’t understand it at all. It’s not fair to anybody,” Barbara Annunziata said. “These migrants, they’re getting everything. They’re getting everything and I can’t get nothing for [Tammaro]. It angers me.” [Source: Daily Wire]
This is really, really, unacceptable. And if your blood is not boiling at what New York is doing to the elderly, you need to check your pulse.
The city kicked out a 94-year-old veteran, along with all the other residents of this senior center. Only days later did they learn they converted the building into a shelter for illegal aliens.
There you have it, folks. Democrats are literally putting American heroes out onto the streets, in favor of migrants who came to this country illegally.
This is what happens when you keep electing progressives. They will eventually turn on hard-working, American citizens. Democrats have rewarded criminals and demonized police officers. They legalized drugs while outlawing firearms.
They welcome drag queens to teach our children while denying parents the right to know what’s going on in classes.
And now, they are evicting elderly Americans out of their beds, to house illegal aliens.
New York bragged about being a “sanctuary” for illegal aliens until they started showing up. The mayor, Eric Adams, has been pathetically unable to handle the crisis. He’s blamed Biden, Texas, and everyone else for the situation.
But he keeps hurting New Yorkers to help people who shouldn’t be in the country in the first place.
If New Yorkers expect to get their city back, they need to start voting these clowns out of office, ASAP.
