What is Biden and his Democrats trying to do with all this “environmental” regulation? Have we seen any proof that these radical restrictions to our everyday life are really “saving” the planet? Or is it much more likely an attempt by power-hungry politicians to control us? Perhaps even limiting many Americans’ ability to build wealth and climb out of poverty?
Democrats do love pushing around the poor, after all.
Biden and his goons tried to pull a fast one on American families. But the backlash was so severe, they had to hastily backtrack. That didn’t stop some far-left cities, though, from running full steam ahead with this idiotic new rule. Thankfully, a few people with common sense sued. And this is what a federal court decided.
A federal court… has overturned a citywide ban on natural gas implements in new buildings that Berkeley, Calif., had implemented in a first of its kind decision.
The appeals court took the side of Berkeley’s restauranteurs who challenged the ban on grounds that it would adversely impact their businesses, according to the Washington Times. The California Restaurant Association had brought the suit, asserting that “Cities and states cannot ignore federal law in an effort to constrain consumer choice, and it is encouraging that the 9th Circuit upheld this standard.” [Source: Just the News]
Woah. It looks like there are some sensible people still serving on federal courts. Restaurant owners sued the far-left leaders of Berkeley over their insane gas stove ban. Had the ban stayed in place, all new buildings would have had to install electric stoves, instead of clean, reliable gas-burning stoves.
This is based on an already-debunked claim that natural gas stoves are a “hidden hazard.” Total lies. Democrats are pushing to ban them in their war against reliable natural gas and other fossil fuels. This isn’t about “saving” the planet but eliminating valuable energy sources like oil and natural gas. So, the United States will be further dependent on foreign countries, reducing our wealth and stability.
Democrats want to deprive Americans of cheap, reliable technology like gas-powered cars and gas stoves. So they can force us to buy much more expensive electric versions. If you can’t afford them, you have no other choice but to take the bus!
Biden doesn’t care. This isn’t about helping Americans. It’s about Democrats keeping the poor oppressed so the rich liberal establishment can stay on top.
Don’t be surprised if they try to ban even more, in their obsession with keeping you down.
