Early during the virus outbreak, Trump touted the virtues of malaria drugs to treat the disease. Despite numerous accounts that these drugs can “wipe out” the disease, the media insisted Trump was wrong. It led to some doctors and governors denying the use of what could save lives. Now, doctors out of Arizona are making major claims about these two treatments.
As COVID-19 swept across the globe, doctors and medical experts worked around the clock to find a solution. Very early on, reports emerged from numerous countries that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine were the answers. One study from Australia said the malaria drugs “wiped out” the disease. Another from France said patients who used them were “cured.” Other studies from South Korea and parts beyond praised the 50-year-old treatments.
President Trump discussed these treatments, giving hope that an answer would come quickly. But in a shocking (or not-so-shocking) move, the media went out of their way to discredit Trump’s statement.
Because, you know, if there’s any place we look to for validating medical advice, it’s the mainstream media!
It seems that the crisis only got worse, even as treatments emerged that were “game changers.” Why did we shut down our country, if we had at least two drugs (not to mention new remdesivir) that could kill the virus in its tracks? Perhaps it has something to do with the media’s continued campaign of negative news, pushing local leaders to keep us under house arrest?
But the dam is certainly breaking. It’s becoming harder and harder for the media to deny there is a cure. Especially as yet another report has come out, saying these malaria drugs are 90% effective.
There is a nearly 92 percent chance that the much-hyped anti-malaria drugs chloroquine (CQ) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) can help patients afflicted by the novel coronavirus, doctors told the governor of Arizona in a letter this week.
“We believe that there is clear and convincing evidence of benefit both pre-exposure and post-exposure,” doctors with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) declared in the letter, referring to the use of the two drugs against coronavirus.
“As of this date, the total number of reported patients treated with HCQ, with or without azithromycin and zinc, is 2,333. Of these, 2,137 or 91.6 percent improved clinically.” [Source: Breitbart]
As mentioned above, this is yet another report among many that CQ and HCQ should be used to treat COVID-19. But think about it, if we have a drug that is 90% effective, why are we still acting like this is the end of the world?
While some states are getting back to normal (slowly) many are claiming they will be on lockdown until middle May (or longer). They claim this disease, that is much like the flu and has a cure, should demand total martial law.
You don’t have to speculate long to see why. Blue states are exacerbating this crisis, to bleed more cash from the federal government. They’re willing to cripple their economies and punish Americans, so they can cover their debts created by reckless spending.
(Not to mention their hope that this will affect Trump’s re-election.)
Obviously, if there were drugs that could wipe out the disease in a matter of days, there’d be no need for lockdowns. We could quickly go back to life as normal. So, the media and Democrat leaders are conspiring to drag this crisis out as long as they can, the facts be damned.
That’s why they keep inventing new reasons to delay reopening. We need more testing. What about a second wave? It’s moot if we have drugs that can are this effective at treating the disease. As usual, the liberal media is denying the facts to push their agenda.
How long are we going to put up with them?
